Expedition Tips

  • Rugged Terrain The site is less developed than Göbekli Tepe. Sturdy hiking boots are essential.
  • Limited Facilities There are currently no cafes or shops on site. Bring all necessary supplies.
  • Weather The area is exposed. Prepare for intense sun in summer and cold winds in winter.
  • Respect the Site This is an active archaeological zone. Stay on designated paths and do not touch the carvings.
